“ My 3 friends and I went to “Boots and Bones” at 116 Newark Avenue, Jersey City for Saturday brunch and we were enchanted by the stunning decor, wooden booths, expansive bar and the numerous televisions. The Tex / Mex style food was totally delicious. The staff of Kelly, Francis, Shawn and Marian was personable and efficient. We had a grand time. I hear the evening crowd has been turning out too. That’s terrific. ”
“ Just came back from their soft opening and this place is exactly what we needed! Comfort at its finest. The decor and ambience are truely unique and well designed. Has a homey but sophisticated feel. For the soft opening they had small bites that left me wanting more. The cornbread was delicious and the honey butter that came with it was divine. The wings were smokey and tasty. And the pork grinds, literally to die for! I am definitely excited for the full menu as I heard they have a well known Chef from Blue Smoke NYC! The drinks are unique and beautifully crafted. All the drinks were fantastic and something you wouldn’t expect to get in NJ, my personal favorite was the boot! I am looking forward to tasting their full menu and can not wait for their secret bar, called Under the Boot. Had a glimpse of it tonight and it’s going to be something very special! Can not wait! Lastly, the staff were attentive and friendly; considering the place was packed they were on point and made us feel welcomed! We truly enjoyed our visit! ”
“ I had a fantastic time with friends; our waitress was amazing and friendly. The atmosphere is so cute and feels like you’re in Nashville. If you’re an espresso martini fan, try the frozen espresso martini. The food is also good, and the brisket sandwich was delicious. The buffalo chicken dip was good and very mild on the spicy side. ”
“ The BEST BBQ I have had in NYC area! I love the decor too! Makes me feel like I’m in Nashville (many TV screens playing sports programs, nice bar area). Staff there are so friendly and they were so nice to my kids too! My favorites are the briskets, ribs, sausages, and nachos. Location is amazing. Right off the Path Train, steps from Grove St exit. Definitely be going back often! ”
“ Boots and Bones is Awesome! Very well done interior, standout bar, great food with a cool country/funky vibe. The staff are standout true professionals that dont stop at "howdy". Highly recommend for an old school cowboy/cowgirl night on the town, great place to gather with friends and kick up your boots! ”
“ Stopped by on a Saturday night, and the energy was fantastic! Boots and Bones has that perfect balance of an upscale dive bar—fun, lively, and full of character. The neon cowboy decor sets the vibe, and the music keeps the place buzzing. The bar is huge, and the food does not disappoint. The wings are an absolute steal—highly recommend the garlic parmesan! The fries were solid, too. Drinks are a great deal—15 for a big pitcher of Bud Light that easily poured five beers. While the cocktail list isn’t extensive, they make up for it by pouring them strong. Overall, this spot is a Jersey City staple—great atmosphere, good food, strong drinks, and just steps from the PATH at Grove. Definitely worth a visit! ”
“ I came here for brunch and I had a great time. Boots and Bones offers Nashville style, barbecue food, and other great American Classics. I highly recommend the lemon pepper wings.The waffle sandwich, which came with chicken, eggs and sausage was a favorite as well. The pancake was also nice and fluffy. The stuffed French toast was so delicious. I love the creamy texture of the ricotta inside. For the cocktails, I enjoyed the mimosa margarita. We also try some of the holiday cocktails as well. I also had the burnt ends, which is not pictured here and that I highly recommend. Also, boots and bones have a speakeasy downstairs and have Apple TVs for you to watch our latest games and shows. It’s conveniently right across the street of the Path Grove street train station. ”
“ Visited Boots and Bones and had an amazing experience! The burgers and fries were top-notch, and their mimosa and Bloody Mary were perfectly crafted. The Halloween decorations added a fun and festive touch to the atmosphere. I also appreciated the rustic charm of the wooden furniture. Overall, Boots and Bones is a great spot for a delicious meal and a fun night out. Highly recommend! ”
